About

KisakCOD VR with a WinlatorXR XrAPI backend: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007) in VR, standalone on a Meta Quest, with no PC and no OpenXR or SteamVR runtime.

Tested on Quest 3 with WinlatorXR cats-27 at about 45 to 72 frames per second.

Features

  • Stereo rendering with head and controller tracking, paced to the headset's frame rate
  • Physical weapon handling: aiming, two-hand grip, magazine reloads and belt grenades
  • Menus and cinematics on a screen fixed in the room
  • Campaign playable from the intro through the F.N.G. training

Manual

Installation

  1. Copy the archive's files into a copy of your own COD4 game folder.
  2. Put that folder on the headset.
  3. Follow README-FIRST.txt and WINLATORXR.txt from the download.

  • No manual recenter for the virtual screen.
  • WinlatorXR's right-stick-click menu can switch back to a flat window.
